Tír na nÓg

Tír na nÓg is the home island of Eilish Ni Dhónaill. The island was named by her parents after an Irish mythical Land of the Eternal Youth. The cottage was originally built by Asterians years before the Dhonaills arrived and was rebuilt by Eilish's parents.  There is pine coppice in the northern part of the island and a large orchard in the southern part - with cherries, apples, pears and some other fruit growing there. The orchard belongs to the Asterian family of O'Malleys who also have sheep on the island.
